Mission

Team

The Recon Marines of the 2010 Bravo Company, 1st Recon Battalion Afghanistan Deployment endured a grueling and challenging deployment that would create an never ending bond between them.  These Marines come together every year to bond and share a brotherhood wherever they may be in life.

Challenges

June 3-8, 2019 a Team of 12 Recon Marines will come together after months of hard-work and training to take on Mount Baker.  Mount Baker is the 3rd highest summit in Washington State and the iciest mountain in the Cascade Range.  They will have to navigate glaciers, crevasse fields, and possible avalanches hazards. Mount Baker is a Stratovolcano  topping off at 10,778 ft.  The Team will take five days to complete the mountain. Within those five days they will train for the challenges they will face and then summit the Volcano.
